Torreserena Resort, newly renovated in 2023, is nestled in Marina di Ginosa (Taranto), just a short distance from Matera, Salento, and the stunning Itria Valley.
Here, everything is a tribute to the most authentic Puglia. The Mediterranean landscape surrounds you, and a beautiful pine forest leads you gently to the sea. Our rooms are designed to make your holiday truly delightful.
On our private beach, we take care of every detail: assigned umbrellas for the entire stay, comfortable sun loungers, changing rooms, showers, and a bar where you can enjoy refreshing drinks. Or, if you prefer, unwind by the resort’s stunning swimming pools.
For those who love the sea and the thrill of the wind, there’s a world of experiences waiting for you: sailing boats, windsurfing, canoeing, pedal boats, and paddleboarding. You can also enjoy a game of beach tennis or beach volleyball, embracing the joy of the outdoors.
Our beach lies just beyond the pine forest—a ribbon of fine, golden sand stretching as far as the eye can see, framed by dunes and fragrant Mediterranean scrub. The crystal-clear, shallow waters make it the perfect place for children to play and dive safely.
In the private beach area, your assigned umbrella with two sun loungers awaits you for the entire duration of your stay. For added comfort, the first three rows feature larger umbrellas equipped with a safe for your convenience.
There are countless ways to experience the sea: boat and dinghy excursions, as well as canoeing, pedal boating, sailing, windsurfing, and paddleboarding.
From your room, a scenic walk through lush greenery leads you to the beach. If you prefer, a shuttle service is available to take you there with ease.
Torreserena Resort has 400 rooms with renovated sleeping areas in 2023 and renovated bathrooms in 2024, in 2-storey buildings, divided into Classic, Superior, Family and Premium rooms, all with Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms on the ground floor, have a garden, those on the first floor have a balcony. Connecting rooms and rooms for guests with disabilities are available on request. Dog Rooms – News 2025: Starting from 2025, at Torreserena Resort we’ve introduced brand-new services designed to make your furry friend’s stay just as special as yours. Our Classic Dog Rooms are tailored for their comfort. Inside the room, they’ll find a cosy armchair to relax on, while outside, a private, fenced garden offers freedom and safety. The garden is equipped with a deck chair and food and water bowls, creating the perfect little retreat.
To ensure a warm welcome, we’ve set up a dedicated waiting area on arrival, where your dog can settle in and refresh. They’ll also receive a Welcome Box filled with surprises! For fun and exercise, there’s a special dog play park. Dogs up to 15 kg are welcome, but availability is limited, so we recommend booking in advance.
Our entertainment team makes every day truly special. They bring you joy with daytime activities and make you dream each evening with spectacular shows.
Experience the magic of the circus with Blu Circus, or take part in a variety of activities, from sports tournaments and card games to dance lessons, group dances, and guided excursions.
For the little ones, there’s a dedicated kids’ club, lunch with the activity staff, a giant playground, and the Aqua Park. On the beach, they have their own reserved area, along with plenty of sports, including dance and rhythmic gymnastics, football, swimming, mermaiding, and even tree-top adventure courses in the Adventure Park.
Teenagers aged 10 to 13 and 14 to 17 have their own exclusive clubs, with exciting challenges, sports, and dedicated spaces designed just for them. They can enjoy a wide range of sports and test their skills on the climbing wall, embracing adventure every day.

At Torreserena Resort, a world of sports awaits you during your holiday. For a more technical workout, the fitness area offers isotonic machines, dumbbells, a walking treadmill, spinning, balance boards, strength-building ropes, a climbing wall, group fitness classes, and a gymnastics course set in the pine forest.
If you prefer to combine fitness with fun, try yoga, zumba, tai chi stretch, aqua aerobics, nordic walking, jump fitness, or the trampoline to burn calories to the rhythm of music.

Distance 30 km – Known as the city of the two seas and the revolving bridge, Taranto has a historic centre with mediaeval palaces of considerable architectural value. The ancient monuments sprawled among the various districts recall Taranto’s Hellenic civilization, which is also evident in the archaeological finds on display at the National Museum of Taranto.
Distance: 50 km – Matera, “City of the Sassi”, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Several film directors of note have set their films in this evocative destination, which UNESCO declared the world’s first Cultural Landscape. The striking scenery features steep rocks suspended over a deep ravine through which the Gravina stream flows.
Distance: 60 km – A splendid citadel in the province of Taranto, Grottaglie’s spectacular sights of note include the Convent of San Francesco di Paola, a notable Baroque monument that houses a splendid cloister, and the Chiesa del Carmine, the church that’s home to Stefano da Putignano’s 1530 Stone Nativity. In the upper part of town, you’ll find the 13th-century Castello Episcopio, home to the Museum of Ceramics and the setting for various art exhibitions and events. Artisan workshops built into caves comprise the ancient ceramics district beside the Castello.
Distance: 77 km – Perched on a hilltop in southeastern Murgia, Martina Franca looks over the gorgeous Itria Valley. In addition to a rich landscape studded with typical trulli and masserie farmhouses, Martina Franca sprawls an exquisite vast karst territory. The historic centre’s Palazzo Ducale is home to the Festival della Valle d’Itria, a summer event that draws international artists and visitors. San Martino Cathedral and the Madonna del Carmine church are also worth visiting.

Of particular note is the historic centre, an intimate, graceful ensemble of cummerse houses with distinct pointed roofs. The largest trullo, Trullo Sovrano, dates back to the second half of the 1700s and is the only one with a raised floor. The striking 19th-century Sanctuary of Saints Cosma and Damiano Medici is a must-see, along with San Antonio, a trullo-shaped Pugliese-Romanesque church built in 1926.
